On April 3 2010, we exchanged wedding vows in an idyllic ceremony witnessed by 70 of our dearest family and friends. It was the most joyous moment of my life. Chris is my best friend as well as the man of my dreams.I planned our outdoor wedding months in advance to the finest detail. The night before the wedding, I could barely sleep. It has been raining non-stop for a week.When dad walked me down the isle to where Chris was standing, I was so nervous, that I noticed the roses of my bouquet was shaking. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and the warmth of the sun was beating on my body. When Chris stood in front of me, I felt a great calm come over me-I felt safe and loved. I was blissfully happy like a princess from a fairytale.The ceremony was short but intimate.Everything from the décor and food was absolutely more perfect than what I could have imagined –every one who helped went an extra mile beyond all we asked them to do, to forever add to the wonderful memories.The wedding reception was stunning. Pillar to pillar the venue was transformed-with draping and fairy lights, creating a dreamlike effect. The setting was romantic and breathtaking. From the balcony, guests were able to take in panoramic views of Pretoria and wildlife. It was a perfect day.
