Gem is a beautiful boutique in the suburb of Blairgowrie, complete with showroom, dressing rooms and a lounge where the bride to be can be pampered while choosing everything from her wedding dress to the marquee. On site is a couture seamstress, wedding planner, décor specialist for the table settings, dress designer for the entire bridal party, and a beautician for the big day. The bride to be can plan her entire wedding with all the professionals brought to her. It's a one-stop arrangement, where the full service of DJs, photographers, videographers, caterers, tuxedo rental services and even a string quartet can be arranged from the comfort of the lounge. Even if the venue is the Midlands or the Cape, all the planning and preparations will be taken care of by Gem and transferred to the venue in time for a fairytale event. Gem offers wedding dresses imported from Europe, to buy or hire. Prices are incredibly competitive, with hiring starting at around R3 000 and purchasing at around R5 500. Once the dress is designed or chosen, the specialist designer can offer advice on outfits for the bridesmaid's, mother of the bride - and the groom's mom, too.
